Why we built Grace Notes

Born from a desire to see the grace of worship become lasting life change.

It started with one pastor's concern

One Sunday, a pastor asked his congregation: "Do you remember what last week's sermon was about?" Most people just tilted their heads. A message prepared with such care — already fading by Monday. That moment was the seed of Grace Notes.

The emotion right after a sermon is real. But without a record, that grace slowly slips away. We believed that the simplest act of writing things down could become the bridge that keeps faith growing.

So we set out to build a tool anyone could pick up easily — fast enough to use right in the middle of worship.

Three principles we never compromise on

Your records belong to you

Every note, prayer, and devotion belongs solely to the person who wrote it. Grace Notes never uses your data for marketing or sells it to third parties.

Churches only see the broad picture

Church administrators can only view anonymized participation trends. The content of individual notes or prayer requests is never exposed to the church.

Technology is a tool — not a replacement for relationship

Grace Notes is not a CRM. Its sole purpose is to support the faith fellowship between pastors and members, and between members themselves.

  • All data is protected with 256-bit AES encryption
  • Default setting is "private to me" — sharing happens only when you explicitly choose it
  • Church administrators cannot see the content of personal notes
  • Export or delete all your data at any time

Anywhere, anytime — even offline

Grace Notes is built as a PWA (Progressive Web App), so you can use it right in your web browser with no separate app install needed. Add it to your home screen for a native-app experience.

No internet? No problem. Notes written offline are saved automatically and synced to the server once you reconnect. Journal freely even in airplane mode during worship.
